Dont close the colleges .Where Wil the students go. Let corporates adopt the colleges.Curriculum can and shd be updated. Improve the quality of education.Closing colleges is akin to giving up.

I'm agree 1st 50% of analysis which quality of lab,lack of innovation , ,teacher quality while number of engineers are OK We need many engineer to support startup ecosystem & globe demand.

Very nice and an eye opening. Govt can encourage schools in the place of colleges to educate the villagers,in Tamil Nadu most of the engg colleges are emerged in the agricultural areas.

I myself an Engineer from Indias best Marine college in which admissions are through IIT JEE. In DMET training is as per the industry.where as IIT's also have outdated curriculum.
