Excellent article. Generally we hear two extreme views about Gandhiji - people who respect him and people who hate him. We can't do much about people who hate him but people who respect him also generally forget about the practical and pragmatic approach of the great man.As rightly said, 'he was a master strategist.' Excellent! Thanks for the reminder that Gandhiji d id exist and his ideals were same as those from the ages. I wonder if ever the nee generation will know anything about him except holiday. Currency notes are becoming obsolete and the new generation d oes not read books or persue literature. Goodbye Gandhiji you had your uses when the country needed you. Now you are just a name and bust here and there.

what a tribute to this g8 man on the occasion of h is birth anniversary!!
no other time could hv been better than this when tensions with our neighbouring country just escalated.
and even if Indians might forget of his contributions/achievements he would still continue to be recognised worldwide, a true leader/messenger of non-violence and peace (peaceful demonstrations ).
