Rural obesity levels are quite low. I think that answers most of the questions raised.. 68 % of India still lives in rural areas.

Lack of public parks and sports facilities in neighbourhood , mobile addiction and lazy attitude all leading up to this.

Thats really worrysome. Indians, especially the majority of them being the younge ones, must arise to this reality and make ammends to their lifestyle and food habits.

True. Let us try to be idle without TV, earphones, computer and mobile for just 30 minutes. Indians are glued to these 4. Also we are influenced by Westernisation leaving anything Indian

Well said. The prime reason for this is smart phones in every one's hand with browsing/Whatapp chat/Twitter /hike messaging/what not. Literally, no one is having time do anything not even to look up.
