MMTC spreads bonus cheer

MMTC is the top gainer on the BSE, going up over 14.5% to Rs.59.20. Volumes are huge at around 10 lakh shares today morning compared to 2W average volume of less than 3 lakh.

The stock price has surged after the company announced that its Board will be meeting on 19^th March for consideration and issue of bonus shares.

The bonus comes after a long gap of 8 years – it last declared a bonus in 2010, in a generous ratio of 1:1. Market expects the same generosity to be repeated this year too!
