Schneider Electric lights up

Schneider Electric Infra is currently the top gainer on the BSE and this is a reaction to its earnings for Q3FY22.

The company saw a good momentum in sales at Rs.600 crore, up 25% (YoY) and net profit almost doubled from Rs.33 crore to Rs.52 crore.

EBITDA for the quarter rose from Rs.50 crore to Rs.69 crore while margins went up from 9.6% to 10.8%.

The company’s order intake for the quarter was up 75% at Rs.292 crore (YoY), lead by MMM, Mobility and Diffused segments. Major orders have come from Linxon, Torrent, GE T&D, Bhutan Engg. BSES.

The stock, which had closed yesterday at Rs.107.20, opened today at Rs.114.15, going up to an intraday high at Rs.127, not too far from its 20% UC of the day at Rs.128.60.
