Naukri.com, the very popular job portal said that over 1000 new openings were added from the sector. Over 50% of these were in six of India’s big cities, with Delhi and Bengaluru leading the pack. 

“Instructional design” skill has become the buzz word. This, in simple language means a person possessing skills to teach online. The demand for professionals in the e-learning space has gone up four times on a YoY. WhiteHat Jr, an online platform that teaches coding to kids, has been on a hiring spree, onboarding 220 teachers a day. It plans to take its current number of 7,000 women-only teachers to 20,000 by the end of 2020.
