An app for an auto!

We have all heard and used multiple number of times the services of Ola and Uber. Most of us have become addicts and there is even news that many car owners prefer to keep the car parked in their home and use these taxi services. What if we have the same kind of app for autorickshaws?

Well there is already one is place, in fact for the past two years – Jugnoo. Started by two IIT-Delhi graduates, Known as the auto aggregator, through this app, from the comfort of your home you can get an auto. It works exactly like your Uber or Ola.  After downloading the app, select pickup location and call an auto with just a tap. Get your driver details in seconds along with his current position. Payment is accompanied with a rider invoice, like the one we get after an Uber or Ola drive.

This app is already there in 40 cities and is being launched in a new city almost every two weeks and by Sept 2017, its aim is to reach 100 cities.

This service of Jugnoo has been taken ahead by one more step - Jugnoo uses its auto fleet for deliveries as well and has partnerships with florists, restaurants and grocers for the service. Auto drivers have the maximum business during the morning and evening; afternoons are usually quiet. Jugnoo is thus using this afternoon time to get the autowallahs to earn more by delivering for ecommerce!
