Bachchan Cooks?
TTK Prestige has signed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, as its brand ambassadors, on 30.09.2013. Company is India's No. 1 kitchen appliances company and had recently completed its expansion in its production capacity as well.
Company has recently posted its subdued Q2 financial results, for the quarter ended 30th Sep.2013, with flat PAT of Rs. 30.30 crores, against Rs. 30.28 crores, having achieved in Q2 of FY 13. In the given circumstances, it is imminent for the company to have a strong brand ambassador. Thinking this, they may have roped in a couple , instead of a single brand ambassador. But the company must know that too many cooks spoil the broth. Also, in every household, either of the spouse works in the kitchen. Nowadays, most sought-after celebrity from Bollywood is Deepika Padukone or Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor or Imran Khan, as they are the heart-throbs of the youngsters. So, is Bachchan couple not the wrong recipe? It is like having paani poori for breakfast!
Mind it, company not only has to improve the margins on its existing turnover, but also has to increase its market share, for its increased capacity. Afterall, company wants to remain the Shahenshah of the Kitchen Appliances Industry.
