The world is waiting for the promised movie of the year – James Bond’s Spectre. The last Bond movie as in 2012, Skyfall and we saw the exit of Madame M aka Judi Dench. There is no doubt, this action flick is one of the biggest movie grossers with people from various generations flocking to see the thriller. Little wonder then that some of the biggest brands are vying with each other to be associated with the new Bond movie.
Spectre is said to have cost around $300 million in the making but Sony might already be laughing its way to the bank as Skyfall had generated revenue of $1.1 billion. The big attraction is Bond movies, apart from the action are his cars and technology. This time around, Bond’s vehicles of choice are the Aston Martin DB10 and the Jaguar C-X75. And the price tag to develop these - $1.7 million.
And then the question of his watch. It has always been an Omega for the past 20 years and this time too, its no different. There is special Bond watch released for the movie - The Spectre Seamaster 300. It is the first time that a watch worn by Bond has also been officially released to the general public as a limited edition purchase. The cost – anywhere over $6000 per piece.
And if you are looking at how to make the most of your money – be assured, your ticket cost will give you a runtime of 148 minutes, making Spectre the longest Bond film of all times. The movie premiers in UK on Monday, 2nd Nov and in India on 6th.
