Buying cars online?
Selling cars online? More importantly, will be buy cars online? Well, it apparently looks like Indians are taking to shopping online like fish to water. First it was Tata Nano which started selling its cars online and now Japanese company, Nissan plans to sell its cars online.
Its entire product line up available for purchase via the internet. Customers will be able to book their cars by making payments through an online gateway by credit card. The car will then be delivered to the customer by their nearest Nissan dealership when ready. The logic behind this – well most car buyers go online, do their research before buying so what not sell online?
One cannot help but wonder how many customers would be able to book a car online? To research online is one thing but to not physically see the car , not test drive, somehow, yeh baat hazam nahi hue!
