Can’t tolerate crying babies?

Japan really does not know how to deal with children, forget crying children!  And there are women in Japan who say that they have experienced an array of reactions in public to their baby crying . In fact some day care centers had to be shut down as residents could not bear the noise of children and many have adopted sound proof walls.

The Japanese do not have too many babies around them as it has one of the lowest birth rates in the world. In 2016, the numbers of births in Japan slipped to below one million for the first time. It is strange to know that many of Japanese have grown up unaccustomed to the noise of children around them or even caring for a child. Thus for many, the idea that they might have to stay cooped up in a plane with a bawling child is nothing short of a nightmare.

To counter crying children on planes, All Nippon Airways (ANA) is trying to find out how to stop babies from crying during take-off and landing on planes. It got some 34 of its employees to travel on board with their babies. There were 36 of them and all have a band around their wrist to capture vitals whose aim is to find out why babies cry during take off and landing.

Actually crying babies on airlines is not irritable to the Japanese alone. Malaysian Airlines have moved to ban children from particular areas of the plane.

Well, we have a problem of plenty in India and though a crying bothers, everyone tolerates as all have been through what the parent goes through, at one time or the other.
