CEO's have ample job openings
While young, fresh graduates may be finding it difficult to land jobs in companies; experienced, senior professionals like CEO’s are able to find newer openings that do justice to their skills.
The former Region President, India and South Asia of PepsiCo switched jobs abruptly to chocolate and confectionery giant Mondolez in an Asia-Pacific role. CEO of PepsiCo Foods, Varun Berry too resigned due to differences in management and is now working with Britannia as their COO. S.Raghunandan too who quit Reckitt Benckiser in weeks of getting a promotion as a Country Head joined Jyothy Laboratories as CEO and full-time Director. Traditionally, senior people are considered dedicated and loyal professionals, not wanting to leave abruptly without a back-up plan.
Now, however, in the past few years, this attitude has changed. This is the market for top, experienced talented professionals these days. The start-ups today don’t mind paying extra for taking their company to the next level. With experience and maturity, at their side, the world is their oyster, their unexplored market, literally!
