Change seekers, find a NGO
Working is a part of life. You have to earn, be independent and create an identity for yourself in today’s competitive world and this growing urge to return back to the society, do good for the society. Now, more and more young graduates and professionals are seeking alternate career options to create this identity.
It is not jobless, bored, middle aged men and women who are joining NGO’s and civil society organizations anymore. In the past few years, there has been an increase in the number of young, well-educated men and women who are joining such organizations for leading a more holistic, balanced life and of course, because they believe in the cause supported by the organization.
This is for a social cause, for the greater good and because social and civil society organizations today are more than just collecting donations. This is some news which no TV channel talks about; giving us trash day-in-and-day-out about the corrupt politicians, as though there are only negative things happening in the country. Why can’t we have more news of such small joys but depicting some positive change in the society be shown? Such news is what keeps the faith alive.
