Costs the earth and moon

The BIG launch is round the corner and the Apple fans make it seem like an event which is once in a lifetime on earth. The Apple iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus are set for a launch and the biggest distributors for the device – Beetel Teletech has announced that it will be launching the new iPhone at 7pm on October 7, 2016. Thankfully, there is no madness like a midnight launch here unlike the way it is usually in USA.

And like all Apple iPhones, this one also does not come cheap. It comes at a hefty price tag of Rs.63,000 and really, a phone for that price when you could do so much more with so much money?

There are some 13 destinations where you can fly, take a vacation instead of spending the money on buying this iPhone. Delhi to Sydney flight costs less than Rs.30,000 and that from Mumbai and Bangalore is around Rs.50,000. Or you could fly to Canada, France, UK and even USA and New Zealand for less than the price of this iPhone.

Sometimes, one needs to ascertain the value of money and not always the price of things… is this Rs.63,000 value for money?
