The focus is in small towns. Be it discounts, tax remissions, technology or automobiles; the shift of consumerism from cities to small towns and villages is evident.

The children and families living in small towns and villages have ample options to choose from, in technology and fashion.  Be it a Yamaha bike or a branded original Levis jean, everything is available in the so-called ‘rural’ India. Promart is a name unknown to us city people but head to small towns and this is brand which everyone vouches on for buying leading apparel, footwear and sportswear brands. Promart has nearly fifty stores in India but not one in metropolitan cities. Promart has just opened its first store in Delhi, near Dwarka.

The brand’s strategy is simple, to target two and three tiered cities of India, unlike other brands which opt for major cities. And looking at their success and expansion plans in India, they are definitely heading in the right direction.
