Want to be a Ninja?

Surely at one point of time or the other you would have heard of Ninja’s? Apart from something which children fancy, did you know that ninja is not a cartoon? Actually those who use Ninjutsu is a ninja. Ninjutsu is not a martial art. Ninjutsu is an independent art of warfare that developed mainly in the regions of Japan. And what do the ninja’s do? No, they do not fly through the sky and disappear, like Superman, waving ninja swords around, sneaking into the enemy ranks and assassinating generals... This is a mistaken image of the ninja introduced by movies and comic books.

The jobs of a ninja are divided into the two main categories of performing espionage and strategy. The methodology for performing espionage and strategy is Ninjutsu. Espionage is similar to the job of modern spies, wherein one carefully gathers intelligence about the enemy and analyzes its military strength. 

You are fascinated and would like to become a ninja? Well, you could if you are physically fit, are 18 or older and have the mannerisms of a secretive assassin, and also great people skills? If you scored a “yes” on all counts, then rush in your application.

Japan’s Aichi prefecture is reportedly hiring six full-time ninjas to boost tourism in the region. Applicants must have a love of history and acrobatic skills. Proficiency in Japanese is a bonus, but not required. Pay is ¥180,000 ($1,600) per month. Applications close March 22.

Errrr…you will not be required to spy and kill but you most certainly need to be able to perform and be comfortable appearing before scores of people from all over the world and bear the media glare too. Interested?
