Acrysil
This is a premier kitchen sink and appliances company, selling under the brand name of Carysil and Sternhagen. The company posted a steady set of numbers for Q4FY17. Revenue from operations rose 2% (YoY) at Rs.142 crore. EBITDA rose 12% at Rs.23 crore and margins also showed a rise from 14.8% to 16.2%. It ended the quarter with a net profit at Rs.8 crore, up 18%.
The biggest contributor to the revenue is Granite sink and it showed a 2% rise in topline, steel sinks showed a 15.5% rise and appliances rose 47%. Almost 67% of its revenue comes from exports and this time around, it rose by a mere 0.5% and domestic sales rose 22%.
The company is planning to lay more emphasis on appliances. It is increasing production capacity by 60,000 units and bath driver is expected to be growth driver. It also plans to foray into commercial kitchen segment. It expects sales from domestic as well as exports to go up 20% (YoY) in current fiscal.
It ended FY17 with a consolidated revenue at Rs.181 crore, up 4% and net profit came in at Rs.10 crore, down 17%. This is mainly on account of suffering forex loss of Rs.315 crore due to depreciation of Sterling Pound against USD post BREXIT – the company has dollar borrowings.
