Duke Offshore had a depreciation write back in Q4Fy15 and that helped boost the net profit which is why YoY, for Q4FY16, net profit at Rs.2.27 crore shows a 32% decline. Net sales rose 8.5% at Rs.5 crore. This means net profit margins have come down from 77% to 48%. It ended FY16 though with a higher net profit at Rs.4 crore, up 52%. The company’s equity is small at Rs.4.93 crore and promoters holds 70.61% stake.
This Mumbai based company specializes in setting up offshore oil field platforms, looking after its maintenance, modification and inspection services. The CMD of the company, George Duke is a former special force officer in Indian navy. The company is debt free and market cap stands at Rs.33 crore.
