This company was founded by Chandrababu Naidu. He is no longer on the Board but his son, Lokesh Nara is a Director. A diverse portfolio company, it is into dairy, retail, agri, bakri and renewable energy. It posted a set of great Q2FY16 numbers with a 14% (YoY) jump in consolidated net sales at Rs.587 crore and net profit was at Rs.15 crore, up 39%.

In terms of verticals breakup, dairy reported a 15% rise in topline – contributing 75% to the revenue. Retail showed a 13% rise, with a 23% share in revenue pie. Agri segment grew 5% and contributed 4% to revenue. Bakery did the best, showing a 39% jump in topline while renewable energy contributing less than Rs.1 crore to the topline, grew 17%.

The best news here – its net profit for H1FY16 stood at Rs.26 crore and this is almost its Rs.28 crore net profit of FY15. Clearly, FY16 will end on a bumper note!
