The company once again posted an excellent set of numbers for Q2 (year ending 30th June). It announced a 24% (YoY) rise in net sales at Rs.162 crore and net profit was up 33% at Rs.48 crore. EBITDA for the quarter was at Rs.67 crore, up 63% and margins have showed a significant improvement from 33.9% to 39.7%.

In terms of segment wise breakup, Home Appliances showed a 20% rise in topline and EBIT rose 26%. The other segment, Corporate Funds is Treasury Activities and this showed a 67% rise in both topline as well as EBIT. 92% of its sales comes from out of India and this rose 20% in current Q2 while sales from Rest of World rose 18%.

The company’s H1 net profit for the year stood at Rs.76 crore and this is already more than 65% of its previous 12M net profit of Rs.116 crore. A debt free company, it is expected to continue with this good run in this year too.
