ABB India opened more than 2% higher today morning at Rs.4622.30 and rose further to an intraday high a Rs.4855, up 7.5%. Its just 2.5% away from its 52-week high of Rs.4984.30. Volumes are up almost 5x.
The company, which follows the Jan-Dec year ending, post Q4CY23 posted its highest ever jump in revenue growth for a quarter in the last five years at Rs.2757 crore, up 13.5% (YoY) which in turn helped boost the PAT to Rs.345 crore, up 13%.
The total orders received in the fourth quarter increased by 35% to Rs.3,147 crore. The company received orders worth Rs.12,319 crore in 2023, a 23% increase (YoY).
The board recommended a final dividend of Rs 238 a share.
