Putting these imports the “non-essential” basket, the ban is a move towards the policy of Atmanirbhar India, promoting domestic manufacturing.
90% of ACs imported into India comes from China and Thailand.
Blue Star rose over 5% to Rs.644, Voltas is up over 4% at Rs.701, Johnsons Control Hitachi went up 5.25% to Rs.2309.90 and Amber Enterprises hit a new high at Rs.2300.
