Adani Green hits 5% UC

As against yesterday’s close at Rs.199.75, Adani Green went on to hit the 5% UC at Rs.209.70 and is currently trading at Rs.205 levels.
The stock surged on its announcement that it has entered into an agreement with Total Gas & Power Business Services SAS (Total) for the investment of $ 510 million for the acquisition of 50% stake and other instruments in a JV.
This will house 2,148 MWac operating solar projects presently owned 100% by the company. Post this, Adani will hold 50% stake in the JV.
