Aegis Logistics hits a new high

Aegis Logistics rose over 6.5% to hit a new 52-week high at Rs.272 and this was on the back of its very good performance for Q2FY18.
An oil, gas, and chemical logistics company, it posted a 103% (YoY) rise in net profit at Rs.56 crore on a 83% jump in revenue at Rs.1242 crore. 62% of its income comes from gas and 38% from liquids. EBITDA was up 38% at Rs.77 crore.
It has 2 LPG units, one at Pipavav and one at Haldia; there are three liquid units – one at Haldia, one at Kandla and one at Managlore.
The good news – for H1FY18, it posted a net profit of Rs.103 crore and it is sure to surpass FY17 net profit of Rs.138 crore as it has two more quarters to go.
