Ahluwalia Contracts jumps 6%

Ahluwalia Contracts (India) is up in the spotlight today morning. Yesterday it closed at Rs.321.50 and today it rushed to hit an intraday high at Rs.341, rising over 6%. Its 52-week high is at Rs.385 and incidentally, its 20% UC is at this high plus a little more – Rs.385.80.

The stock price is reacting positively to the new order. Yesterday after market hours, it said that it has received new order worth Rs.407 crore for civil works in construction of a medical college in Rewari, Haryana.

It said it has also secured other orders worth Rs.90 crore though it did not give details of the same.

The company said its total order inflow during the FY20 stands at Rs. 927 crore.
