Ajanta Pharma is down in the red today, slipping 6% to Rs.1025.55 and continues to remain around the same levels.
The market is disappointed with the company’s performance for Q3FY19. Its consolidated revenue was down 17% (YoY) at Rs.485 crore and net profit slipped 55% to Rs.67 crore. The exports of the company were also down 27%.
The company’s EBITDA fell 46% to Rs.107 crore and margins showed a huge slump from 33.6% to 22.1%.
The company has blamed this poor show on account of the pipeline filling in corresponding quarter of previous year is now getting normalised. There was also a drop in the anti-malarial business due to changing conditions of this business segment.
