Ashok Leyland parked as top loser

Ashok Leyland is the top loser on the BSE since morning. The stock price opened at Rs.65, lower by 2.2% over previous close and went down to an intraday low at Rs.61.20, a fall of almost 6.5%.
The company reported a staggering 70% (MoM) drop in truck and other heavy and medium vehicle sales for the month of August. And total vehicles sales, domestic and exports, dropped 47% to 9,231 units in August 2019.
Total vehicle sales, including all these categories, declined 50% to 8,296 units.
The sales of LCVs dropped 8% to 3,882 units.
