Aurobindo Pharma jumps 19%

Aurobindo Pharma is currently the top gainer on the BSE. It opened 10% higher at Rs.550.20, jumping up further to Rs.594, going up almost 19%. Its 20% UC for today is at Rs.600.20.

The company had some good news from the US FDA and it stated today morning that with regard to the USFDA inspection of Unit IV, a general injectable formulation manufacturing facility of the Company, it has received the Establishment Inspection Report (EIR) with Voluntary Action Initiated status from USFDA.

Voluntary Action Indicated (VAI) which means objectionable conditions or practices were found but the agency is not prepared to take or recommend any administrative or regulatory action.
