Bajaj Auto skids and falls

Bajaj Auto reported poor monthly numbers once again; its November sales numbers were also down.
For December, the company recorded a further fall, showing the impact of demonetization. Sales were down 22% (YoY) and down 16% sequentially at 2.89 lakh units. Exports too showed a sharp fall of 27%.
The company’s motorcycle sales were down 18% (YoY) and three-wheeler sales were down 46%.
Naturally, the market is not happy with this news and the stock is currently amongst the top three losers on the bourses, down over 2% at Rs.2573. Its 52-week low is at Rs.2173.40.
