Bajel Projects up over 10%

Bajel Projects is today the best performing small cap stock; as against its close of Rs.245.05, the stock opened at Rs.252.40 and rose to an intraday high at Rs.269.75, up 10%. Its 52-week high is at Rs.330.

The stock price has reacted positively to a new order win. This is from Solapur Transmission, a project company of Torrent Power, for the supply of goods and services for the establishment of a new 400/220 KV substation in Maharashtra.

The contract encompasses design, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, civil work, testing, and commissioning of a 400/220 KV substation, along with the setup of two 400 KV line bays at Power Grid Solapur.

The project needs to be completed within 15 months of receiving the letter of award.
