Bayer Crop Science is the top loser on the BSE currently, going down over 8% at Rs.3865.05. Its 52-week low is at Rs.3700.
The stock price is down as it posted a set of poor numbers for Q2FY19. The company reported a 10% (YoY) decline in revenue at Rs.1104 crore. Net profit fell 25% at Rs.143 crore.
The company stated that the erratic season marked by uneven rainfall and hailstorms that damaged standing crops in several parts of the country impacted its earnings.
