BEL shines on orders
Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) is doing well today; from its close of Rs.176.45, it opened at Rs.177.59 and rose to an intraday high at Rs.180.85. Its 52-week high is at Rs.196.25.
Yesterday evening, the company announced that it has signed a contract for a value of Rs.2,167 crore with Indian Navy.
This is for the supply of state of the art indigenously designed and developed EW suite for use on-board warship.
This EW suite is a big leap towards the Aatmanirbhar Bharat initiative of BEL.
The company has also received additional orders worth Rs. 115 crore since the last disclosure on 30th Jan’24. All these orders pertain to the supply of SDRs, HD VLF receivers, EVMs etc.
With the above, BEL has received cumulative orders of Rs.30,776 crore in the current financial year.
