Bharat Electronics opened 2.5% higher at Rs.212.40 but retreated from there on account of profit booking; it continues to trade in the green at Rs.209 levels.

The company announced today morning that it has signed a Contract for Instrumented Electronic Warfare Range (IEWR) for the Indian Air Force. The contract is a significant step towards enhancing the capabilities of IAF to prepare for future warfare. The overall cost of the contract is estimated to be of Rs.1109 crore.

It also concluded a Contract for supply of Advanced Electronic Warfare (EW) suite for Fighter aircraft of Indian Air Force. The contract was signed between MoD and BEL and the overall cost of the contract is estimated to be Rs.1993 crore.
