Brahmaputra Infra at new high
Brahmaputra Infrastructure, which had closed yesterday at Rs.28.80, opened higher today at Rs.32 and went on to hit the 20% UC of the day at Rs.34.55, a new high too. This was on the back of an almost 8-times rise in volumes.
The company announced today afternoon that, it has won, along with Brahmaputra's JV partner, a contract by Assam Skill Development Mission.
This is worth Rs.294 crore and pertains to design and construction of ASU campus and facilities campus development including landscape, horticulture, water bodies, internal roads, pavements, drainage, electrification, street lighting, sewerage, water supply, etc. and building works for academic blocks, specialized laboratories, workshops, computer laboratory, library, administration and special service facility buildings, canteen, hostels, and recreation facilities.
The company had ended Q1FY22 with a turnaround net profit of Rs.1.26 crore v/s loss of Rs.4.5 crore (YoY) on a 28% rise in revenue at Rs.25 crore. Market cap stands at Rs.100 crore.
