Brahmaputra Infra hits 20% UC

Brahmaputra Infrastructure had hit the 20% UC yesterday at Rs.26.30 and today too, it hit the 20% UC at Rs.31.50 the moment it opened up for trading. Volumes have surged up over 10 times. Its 52-week high is at Rs.43.95.
The stock price has surged today after the company announced yesterday that it has received an order from the Assam Govt.
This is for construction of residential complex at Guwahati and the contract price is Rs.44.80 crore.
The company has been making losses consistently – its loss for Q3FY17 and in Q2 stood at Rs.4 crore each. Loss for 9MFY17 was at Rs.11.5 crore. Its consolidated debt stands at around Rs.350 crore and that is what is pushing the company into the red – its interest outgo for 9MFY17 was at Rs.29 crore.
