Crompton Greaves Consumer Electricals is among the top give gainers on the BSE, going on to hit a new 52-week high at Rs.328.45. Volumes spiked up almost 6.5 times.

The market is happy with its performance for Q2FY21. It posted a 28% (YoY) jump in net profit at Rs.142 crore.

This was on a 13% rise in net sale sales at Rs.1213 crore.

Its revenue from electric consumer durables segment rose 18% to Rs.932 crore and that from lighting products dipped 2% to Rs.281 crore.

Measures taken to reduce costs and improve lighting products mix helped the EBITDA margin rise byba very good 380 bps to 15.8%.

The company has also declared an interim dividend of Rs.3/share (FV of Rs.2) and 4^th Nov is the record date.
