D-Link hits a new high

D-Link (India) hit a new high today at Rs.38.70 and it is now ruling in the green at Rs.37, up 8.5%. Volumes are huge at almost 10 lakh shares compared to the two week average of 56,000 shares.
Taiwan’s D-Link Corp, parent company of D-Link India is once again said to be mulling delisting. This rumours have been around for some time now and today’s news is also just grapevine, there is no confirmation yet from the company. It is said that the company is looking at a floor price of Rs.55-60 for delisting. It does not need to quality the SEBI stipulation of 75% holding as promoters is way below that threshold, at 60.37%.
