Datamatics in the green
Datamatics Global Services announced on Friday that Datamatics Phillipines a subsidiary of te company is acquiring voice-based business process outsourcing firm RJ Globus Solutions for $1.6 million.
RJ Globus Solutions, established in 2012, is a Manila-headquartered BPO firm that offers customer service, back-office solutions, and analytics to companies in the banking & financial services, healthcare, telecom, and e-commerce across the US, UK, China, and Australia.
Datamatics will pay $50,625 for the acquisition of 1,875 shares, representing 75 per cent of RJ Globus, and $1.55 million towards payment of certain liabilities as agreed. Datamatics will acquire the remaining 25 per cent shares in the year 2019 and 2020 based on the financial performance of RJ Globus.
The company stated that the acquisition will further strengthen Datamatics’ BPO offerings to meet the growing demands of customers and increase its market presence through an expanded global delivery center.
The stock price has reacted positively to this news today. The stock which had closed on Friday at Rs.112.70, went up to an intra day high today at Rs.129.55. Its 52-week high and low stands at Rs.152.80 and Rs.93 respectively.
