Dhampur Sugar gets sweet

Dhampur Sugar Mills went up 3.5% to Rs.224.10, which is 11% lower than its 52-week high of Rs.252.20. It has come off the days high point and is now just about holding on to the green, less than 1% up.
The company posted a very good bottomline, thanks to inventory gain. Despite revenue showing a 4% (YoY) drop at Rs.888 crore, the company ended Q4FY19 with a net profit at Rs.108 crore v/s net loss of Rs.9 crore.
Its EBITDA was up 15 times at Rs.181 crore and margins showed a fantastic jump from a meagre 1.3% to 20.3%.
The company also announced that it has expanded its distillery capacities at Dhampur and Asmoli where the capacity now stands at 2,50,000 lts/day and 1,50,000 lts/day respectively.
