Filatex India yesterday evening said that its proposed installation of captive rooftop solar power generation of 1.0 MW at Dahej and 0.4 MW at Dadra has been successfully completed.

It commenced commercial operation w.e.f. December 30, 2020.

The commissioning of this solar power unit is expected to bring down its energy costs significantly in the new fiscal, FY21, which in turn could get translated into higher margins.

The company makes synthetic fibers like polyester, nylon & polypropylene multifilament yarn.

The market has reacted well to this news and the stock price hit a new high today at Rs.49 on the back of robust buying.
