Godrej Agrovet doing well

Godrej Agrovet did well today; opening over 1% higher at Rs.519.40, it rose to an intraday high at Rs.540.20 on the back of a robust growth in volumes. Its 52-week high is at Rs.688.

The stock price rose after the company announced that it had signed 3 MoUs with the state Govt’s of Assam, Manipur and Tripura. The company will be allotted land across three state to promote and develop sustainable palm oil plantations.

This is for development and promotion of oil palm cultivation under National Mission on Edible Oils-Oil Palm scheme.
