GPT Infraprojects rises 12%

GPT Infraprojects surged almost 12% to Rs.31 while its 20% UC for the day stands at Rs.33.30. Its 52-week high is at Rs.49.70.

This small cap stock is in the limelight following its announcement yesterday evening that it has bagged a Rs.196 crore order for Kolkatta Metro Railway project.

This is for construction of a Viaduct from P276 to P314 including Mominpur Station and Majerhat Station (Excluding PD building and OCC building side) and Ramp at Joka Depot end.

Meanwhile on the earnings front, for Q1FY21, the company, on a 43% (YoY) drop in revenue from operations at Rs.81 crore, its net profit showed a 59% decline at Rs.1.7 crore.
