GRUH Finance slumps post Q3
GRUH Finance is the top loser on the BSE currently despite posting a healthy set of numbers for Q3FY18. But this is more account of profit booking because in a run-up to the numbers, it had risen quite a bit; the results were on 20th Jan and on 18th it hit a new high at Rs.616.80 and on 19th at Rs.713.55. Thus today, it opened lower at Rs.689, going down to Rs.627.40 and now remains 8% lower.
The housing loan company posted a 12.5% (YoY) rise in revenue earned at Rs.428 crore. Net Interest Income (NII) was up by a good 17% at Rs.177 crore and net profit for the quarter came in at Rs.822 crore, up 28%.
In terms of asset quality, it continues to remain one of the best – Gross NPA did rise from 0.67% to 0.73% (QoQ) while Net NPA remains at zero.
