Hero Moto on good roads

Hero Motocorp is on good roads today morning, opening in the green and rising up 3.5% to hit an intraday high at Rs.3464.20. Its 52-week high is at Rs.3628.55.

The market is happy with its sales numbers for Feb which rose 1.45% (YoY) with total sales at 5.05 lakh units.

Total motorcycle sale was down 3.25% while scooter sales almost doubled from 18,932 to 41,744.

Domestic sales rose marginally to 4.84 lakh units v/s 4.80 lakh units (YoY) while exports rose to 21,034 units v/s 18,046.

The company is optimistic about growth in the coming months, as a credible recovery in the Indian economy and a positive momentum towards personal mobility is likely to further strengthen the demand for two-wheelers.
