Hindustan Zinc in limelight

Hindustan Zinc is a bright star today, rising almost 5% to an intraday high at Rs.310 and is currently trading at Rs.308 levels. Its 52-week high is at Rs.372.15. Volumes are also extremely robust.

The company announced that its Board is meeting on 16th Nov to consider and approve second interim dividend, if any, for the Financial Year 2022-23.

Record date is 24th Nov.

First interim dividend was announced in July 22, with dividend of Rs. 21 per share on a FV of Rs.2.

Since 28th June 2001, the company has declared 38 dividends and because they are usually pretty generous, the market is anticipating another good one to be declared this week.

Its dividend yield at the current price stands at 5.84%.
