IGL rises up

Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL) is in the green today, going up 3.5% at Rs.269.65. The stock’s high and low stands at Rs.344.20 and Rs.202.55 respectively. Volumes have gone up almost 3.5 times.
To offset the weaker rupee and higher-priced fuel, IGL has hiked the price of compressed natural gas (CNG) by 3.3% in Delhi.
A consumer will pay Rs 1.36 more in Delhi at 41.97 per kilogram, and Rs.1.55 more at Rs.48.60 per kg in Noida, Greater Noida & Ghaziabad. The price revision came into effect from midnight yesterday.
It will continue to offer a discount of Rs 1.50 per kg between 12.30 am to 5.30 am at select outlets.
The company provides CNG to 1.05 million vehicles in NCR region and PNG to 9 lakh households in Delhi and NCR.
