Infosys at new high

Infosys, which had closed yesterday at Rs.1220.75, opened higher at Rs.1242.95 and soon zoomed to hit a new high at Rs.1249; it has come off the high and is now trading at Rs.1237 levels.

There was good news, obviously, from the company - Daimler will transform its IT operating model and infrastructure landscape across workplace services, service desk, data center, networks and SAP basis together with Infosys.

As a part of this partnership, automotive IT infrastructure experts based out of Germany, wider Europe, the U.S. and the APAC region will transition from Daimler AG to Infosys.

The transfer will also enable Infosys to bolster and grow its automotive business, while offering Daimler employees strong prospects for long-term career growth and development.

The company though has given no financial translation of this partnership with Daimler.
