Infosys loses as founders sell stake

Infosys is currently the top loser on the BSE, opening weak at Rs.2012 over Fridays close of Rs.2069.70 and then going down to Rs.1996.65. The stock is presently 3% down at Rs.2007.15 with a 9 times spike up in volumes.
The stock is reacting to the news that the core founders of the company have sold 3.26 crore shares at Rs.1998/share, which is much lower than even current price and Friday’s close. The promoters have sold stake to raise funds for personal as well as philanthropic reasons. This entire deal was done through Deutsche Bank.
At end of Q2FY15, promoters held 15.92% stake while FIis held 42.67% and domestic investors held 14.48%.
