Insecticides wins again

Insecticides (India) is on a patent winning spree.

Yesterday, the Govt granted it two patents for Novel Miticidal Benzyalamide and Novel Dithiolane compounds for a period of 20 years. The patents cover novel compounds as well as agrochemical products based on them.

Prior to this, last month, it was two more patents and both were for a period of 20 years.

The company has said that till date the Govt has 17 granted patents and more than a dozen patents in process.

The company is scheduled to declare its Q4FY22 and FY22 performance on 26th May. It had posted a very flat earnings for Q3.

The stock price is in the green today; it opened 1% higher at Rs.724.75 and went on to an intraday high at Rs.748.85,  a rise of 4.5%. Its 52-week high is at Rs.846.
