Jayshree Chemicals hits the roof

Jayshree Chemicals has hit the 5% upper circuit at Rs.15.30, just a tad away from its 52-week high of Rs.15.84. Yesterday also, the stock had hit the upper circuit.

The stock has hit the roof as Aditya Birla Chemicals has acquired the company’s caustic soda plant for Rs.212 crore. This plant, located in Odisha has a capacity of 57,000 tpa and this was its mainfray. Post this, it will be left with manufacture of Liquid Chlorine and Hydrochloric Acid (HCL) and Sodium hypo chlorite based on Energy efficient Latest Membrane Cell Technology.
